If you are unwilling to do research, you shouldn’t be adopting. It’s really that simple. (On the same note, if you are unwilling to do research, you shouldn’t be placing. It works both ways.)

There are more than happy stories. There are more than sad stories. There is more than one possible outcome when it comes to adoption. Do your research. Thoroughly. If you don’t feel secure knowing that your child has two Moms, don’t adopt. Don’t place.
