Stuff n’Things

Things are going well. I had another conversation with Munchkin on the phone, totally unprompted by D.

D: Do you want to talk to Munchkin’sFirstMom?
Munchkin: Okay! Hi Munchkin’sFirstMom.
Me: Hi Munchkin. What are you doing?
Munchkin: I’m playing with [I forget...]
Munchkin’sFirstMom: That’s fun. Are you having a good day?
Munchkin: Yes.
Munchkin’sFirstMom: Good! Okay, I love you.
Munchkin: I love you, too.
Munchkin’sFirstMom: Bye Munchkin!
Munchkin: Bye.

My heart swells every time she tells me that she loves me. She’s so wonderful. And yet, as I start making plans for her birthday and Christmas (both, obviously, in December), I don’t know what size she’s wearing or what age appropriate toys she would actually like.

There’s always a reminder that I’m not “really” important, isn’t there? That said, I’ll be visiting for an entire week. I love being a WAHM. ;)

That was the best phone call ever :)

Erm…I don’t know what size she’s wearing either. It varies. Mostly 3T. 4T in some shirts. Yeah, she’s a giant ;)

Pffffft…you are very important. She told you she loves you. That, right there, should tell you how important you are.

I suspect you’re “very” important. Glad to hear that you’re going to be visiting for an entire week. :)

From where I’m stading it looks like you are VERY important to Munchkin AND her family.
I’d swap with you anyday, you can have L’s parents and I would have D.

you are fortunate, Jenna. i envy your openness once again.
