"May the love hidden deep inside your heart find the love waiting in your dreams. May the laughter that you find in your tomorrow wipe away the pain you find in your yesterdays."

This blog is neither pro-adoption nor anti-adoption. This is merely the story of a mother and her journey towards healing.

Need Your Help or… SURVEY FUN!

If you have placed a child and have since parented another, I may want to talk with you. I’m doing a survey for my adoptionblogs blog and need to speak with Mothers who have parented another child. This can be either before or after placement (meaning a child born and then placed another or a child placed and then parented another later). I will have two separate versions of the survey to fit both versions.

Please, if you are interested, leave your e-mail, your first initial and whether you’re a place first, parent second or a parent first, place second.

Disclaimer: Some, not all, of your responses will be used in a series on the Birth/First Parent blog. Your names will not be used, just first initial. If you want to make up an itial, go for it. This is not about pointing out who thinks what but an attempt to grasp how parenting is changed for Mothers who have placed children.

I look to write this series the week of Thanksgiving OR the following week, depending on results, participation and how active my brain function is after a week long visit with Munchkin and family… and BigBrother’s first birthday.

Also, if you know a Mother who would like to be involved in something like this, by all means, forward this around. Thank you for your help ahead of time.

PS - Miss you guys. :(

I’m interested. I placed my first and am now parenting two. My e-mail is breanna.breiner@charter.net

I’ll be interested to read these results! I wonder where you could pitch a story on that? It would make a good article! (Mothering, maybe?)

We miss you, too. Big time. :-(

Let me know Jenna, parenting 4 after placement of my first.

I’m in.
