Despite recent events in J’s health, D and the kiddos are still making the trip to Ohio (and then BigBrother and I, back to PA for a few days). While I’m still in prayer for J and worried about him and all of that jazz, I’m stoked for me!
Things that I have planned:
1. Church on Sunday. TheHusbandMan won’t even be here because of work (gulp) so we somehow have to get three kids and two women to church on time. (And I have to go to Sunday School.) I think we’re enlisting my Mother-in-law for help.
2. Possible visit with Judy? And Dawn? Thing haven’t been discussed further because of health issues and questions in visiting. I need to get on that one.
3. Library. (And, I told my other MommyFriend that Munchkin, D and JD would be in town for library next week. I’m still not 100% sure she’s getting it or if she doesn’t know what to say or if she doesn’t want to say the wrong thing or… whatever. But, that part is done. Now… introducing… )
4. The second half of the week will be sunny and decently warm. I forsee lots of walking to the park, swinging, running amok and generally enjoying spring nature in SE Ohio. Maybe even one day taking a trip out to Salt Fork and basking in NATURE nature, not just city nature.
5. Walking with MommyFriend at the gymnasium on Thursdays. It’s a great way for the kids to wear themselves out (I carry BigBrother in the MTC part of the time and then let him run the rest of the walk; today? Nap time? Not a problem! WOO!).
6. I’m working on meal plans. Kids can be interesting to feed. I forsee some chicken/cheese/broccoli casserole, slow-cooker enchiladas, eggplant parmesean, pierogies (woo Polish!) and probably an abundance of grilled cheese. Breakfasts will be something like oatmeals, pancakes and french toasts. Maybe scrambled eggs.
7. Speaking of eggs, is it even possible to dye eggs with two sixteen month old boys and one three.something year old girl? Outside maybe? I think we need to buy an outside picnic table, no?
8. Oh, pictures with the Easter Bunny… because pictures with Santa weren’t funny enough.
9. Late night laughter with no kids, no husband. Why? Just because. Also, possibly sticking TheHusbandMan with all three kids and going to karaoke. (He doesn’t know this yet. SHH.)
10. Then driving eight hours with three kids. *blinks*
Is it Saturday afternoon at 3pm yet?

I hope the easter bunny picture makes me laugh as hard as the santa picture did. I actually forwarded it to my mom and she called me laughing!
We are set to arrive in San Diego at noon on Saturday, the exact same time your visit is set to happen. I’m so excited I can’t STAND it!

Can’t wait to see all of you. Not to be a pest, but the sooner the better so I can put in proper Leave Of Absence request if it’s a weekday/workday. Otherwise, Bossman will have himself a little hissy fit. Or a big one, depending on his mood. *insert eye roll here* Yanno.
Good times!! And continued prayers for J.
