Watch, Listen, Vote

Clicking of of Dawn’s entry, I watched the video, A Girl Like Me, and basically dissolved into a sobbing heap at the keyboard. The whole doll study? Especially the last little girl with the questions? My heart breaks.

For the record: my daughter is the most beautiful girl on this planet.

That said, even if you aren’t the voting type, you should watch it. You should listen to these girls. You should learn something from what they’re saying. You should tell someone tomorrow that they are beautiful… no matter what.

(But you should vote because a $10,000 scholarship is called into play here!)

I really do think it’s the best movie there. I really really hope she wins.

I blogged about it and voted for her too. I just wanted to say I love the pics of BigBrother in your profile. Easter? He is too cute!

I also cried with that very same scene of the girl pushing the doll away and admitting that she looked like the Black doll.

Anyway, I was wondering if you (and Dawn, and everyone else – I just sent a comment to my friend cloudscome about that) knew that we can vote once each day!! Yesterday she was third and today she’s in second! We have to spread the word!
