In case you’ve hidden under an adoption rock yesterday and today, the LA Times published a two part article on open adoption. (Parts One and Two.) It’s long (as in sixteen pages) and hard to get through at times (not because of poor writing but because of the heavy topic). However, it’s a must-read. I just wrote about it on the birth/first parent blog, including a quote from the adoptee in question that really hits to the heart of what we hope to achieve with open adoptions.
