"May the love hidden deep inside your heart find the love waiting in your dreams. May the laughter that you find in your tomorrow wipe away the pain you find in your yesterdays."

This blog is neither pro-adoption nor anti-adoption. This is merely the story of a mother and her journey towards healing.

In Case You Wonder What I’m Reading

Thanks to Dawn, I’ve installed my Shared Reader stuff from Google Reader on the right hand side bar. (I also went through and deleted everything I had previously shared and am starting over again.) The important part about this news? I’ve not only installed it here but am installing it over on the family blog. Meaning that my shared list will serve two blogs. I will not censor out adoption links or “other” stuff that I find important or interesting enough to share. Folks on the family site will be able to click on your adoption posts that I think are outstanding (as well as other stuff) and you all can benefit from random mommy blogs/parenting stuff (as well as other adoption entries). I’m integrating myself with myself. Feels good. What are you reading? Share on your blog.

Write-Up of Yesterday’s Open Adoption Chat

I’ve just written up the Open Adoption chat on the LA Times website from yesterday afternoon. I hit on the topics that were being “debated” in yesterday’s post regarding whether or not it was fair to let the adoptee go through so much turmoil in the relationship. They answered the questions I asked and hit everyone else’s with the same toned answer every time: They wouldn’t have changed the openness though communication could have been improved. So, read the blog. If you would like a copy of the entire chat script, please drop me a comment here or an-email and I will send it on over to you.
