They'd never have dreamed of trying to take away a kid from someone with, say, one arm. This is a huge part of the reason I live in fear of Child Protective Services. Yes, this story was in the UK, but still. The discrimination against the mentally ill is alive and well. Couple that with the mad baby-lust of the adoption industry, and, well.... anyone wonder I'm a bit paranoid about them showing up on my doorstep? Sigh.
