"May the love hidden deep inside your heart find the love waiting in your dreams. May the laughter that you find in your tomorrow wipe away the pain you find in your yesterdays."

This blog is neither pro-adoption nor anti-adoption. This is merely the story of a mother and her journey towards healing.

Upgraded this Blog

I’ve upgraded this blog to WordPress 2.3.1. It seems to have gone off without a hitch. I do need someone to explain the difference between categories and tags, however, because I’m not quite getting it yet. Other than that, if you see anything technically defunct on the blog: a) please leave a comment and say, “Hey, your blog is broken,” and then b) ignore it after that. Thanks! (The family blog has not been updated yet because our website host has not updated their Fantastico yet. I e-mailed them a few minutes ago.) (Side note: on my dashboard, I “lost” a lot of recent links to the blog. Where did they go?) (Also posting to make sure the Asides still work.)

Categories are general — think encyclopedia — and tags are specific — think dictionary. So you lump things under chunks of categories and then tag them in more detail. So, for example, if you wrote about Madonna and how she is so obviously using botox you could put that under, say, “celebrities” or “annoying people” or “timesuck” and then you could tag it “Madonna, botox, denial.”
