I am not parenting anyone, but my nephew is only 9 months older than my birthson. Many times, when I am shopping for him I think, am I really shopping for my nephew?? Or is this for my birthson?? It's weird how being a firstmom can affect nothing and everything at the same time... sometimes I have sort of the same thing happen to me.
