Also my memoir didn’t sell! But this is the first book I wanted to write — I just didn’t think I had the chops to do it. Having someone to do it WITH makes me feel better about that part of it because we can cheer each other on.

I think this sounds like a great direction, and I am really excited to see what both you & Dawn put together.
If you need to hear from someone who has experienced multi-generations of open adoption (my brother’s were open in the 1970′s) I would also be happy to share with you both, and of course the three (very different) open adoptions with my children.
I know both you & Dawn misunderstood me before, and I apologize for that. Just because my experience has not been overwhelmingly positive, does not mean that I am an extremist, it is just what has happened to me. I hope you understand that.
