About the Blog

This blog originally started as a free blog on WordPress.com. Initially it was a place to chronicle my feelings and emotions as a birth mother. It has since evolved into a place where I talk about my healing, adoption in general, reform and other adoption-type issues.

This blog was deleted for a week in June of 2008. It is back. And it is not rainbows and butterflies. It never was and it never will be. This blog is my honest, no-apologies to anyone look at how adoption is affecting me and my family. And no, it’s not all negative either. There are great moments that I have shared here and will continue to share. I am blessed and I am aware of that fact.
